DriveCam provides services that improve driver behavior and assess liability in collisions. The company wanted to establish itself as an innovator and leader through high visibility placements in both trade and consumer media. Chereskin Communications established a public relations plan closely linked to company objectives. She worked with DriveCam customers around the U.S. to develop stories for both trade and consumer media. To deliver these messages, she created articles, case studies, B-roll for TV, and targeted media pitches. Media placements in 2005 included ABC World News Tonight, Good Morning America, CNN, Today Show, NPR, Dateline NBC, Fox News, and more. Trade articles appeared in leading insurance and fleet publications. Results included dramatic increases in the number of inquiries on the web site, e-newsletters and incoming calls from targeted markets.
Syntricity is the leading developer of enterprise yield management (EYM) systems for the semiconductor industry. The company wanted to promote its position of thought leadership and innovation. Chereskin Communications teamed with Andrea Roberts of A-R Marketing to develop a PR program that included placement of articles, case studies and white papers. Case studies, by-lined articles and white papers were developed and promoted through media and direct communication to targeted prospects and customers.
Cognex Corporation is the world’s leading maker of machine vision sensors, or devices that can "see." The company wanted to gain the attention of the national business media for its creative corporate culture. Chereskin Communications crafted story ideas, developed relationships with targeted media and pitched specific editors at BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune, the Wall Street Journal and other business media. The Wall Street Journal featured Cognex CEO in its annual executive compensation issue. Cognex was also featured in Fortune Magazine as one of its US Heroes of Manufacturing for 2004. Additional coverage in 2005 and 2006 included the Boston Globe, Bloomberg, and Electronic Business.
A leader in precision assembly automation, Palomar Technologies wanted to create awareness and interest with the business community and showcase the company’s management. Chereskin Communications prepared a detailed PR plan that resulted in media placements, analyst coverage, awards, and speaking opportunities. Results included high profile coverage in the San Diego Union Tribune, California CEO, Fortune Magazine, San Diego Daily Transcript, Electronic Business and analysts’ reports. Chereskin Communications’ efforts also lead to Palomar being awarded Fortune Magazine’s "Heroes of US Manufacturing," the AeA Technology Award, and the UCSD CONNECT Most Innovative Product Award. Palomar also was selected to present at the San Diego MIT Enterprise Forum.
Smith System Driver Improvement Institute is the leader in professional driver training. Smith System wanted to improve its brand recognition, publicity and marketing communications efforts. Chereskin Communications developed a communications plan that included targeted image advertising, trade publicity, and electronic newsletters to help the company expand its market reach. Smith System has gained significant media publicity in targeted fleet publications and is being contacted regularly as an expert source on driver training. The results are increased visits to the company’s web site and more high-quality leads.
Networkcar offers the first integrated GPS tracking and diagnostic monitoring system for wireless vehicle management. Chereskin Communications has worked closely with Networkcar to promote its image as an innovative company that produces leading-edge products. Networkcar has been recognized with awards for innovation and is regularly sought out by the media for its customer stories that showcase how its products improve productivity for fleets.
